RBTL/Stages Level Up Your Character Masterclass

Sign up now for Level Up Your Creative Expression Through Dance, a dance masterclass in the Level Up Series, a Stages/RBTL collaborative project. During this 2 hour masterclass, Francesca Genovese and Anastasia Pembrook will share invaluable techniques for improving dance performance ability and onstage confidence for auditions, rehearsals and shows. Participants will gain a better understanding of how dance and choreography bring dramatic elements to life by enhancing the storytelling in a scene and practice dance techniques rooted in jazz and ballet through Broadway style choreography

• Time, Grades 4-8: 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
• Time, Grades 9-12: 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.

PARKING

• Parking is available in the back of the theater off College Avenue. As a precaution, please do not leave any valuables in your vehicle.  

DIRECTIONS

• Class will take place in the Stages Theater on the third floor of the West Herr Performing Arts Center.
• The building entrance is a small door on the west side of the building, facing Prince Street. Follow the long hallway until you reach the lobby. Take the elevator to your right up to the 3rd floor. Stages is located just to your left as you exit the elevator.

BE ON TIME

• Please arrive a few minutes early so that we can get started on time.

WHAT TO WEAR

• Wear appropriate, comfortable clothes and shoes for movement (no flip flops, crocs, etc.).

WHAT TO BRING

• Water bottle
• A notebook or device for taking notes

Q&A

• Grade 4-8 Parents are welcome to join at 1:50 p.m. for a quick student/parent Q&A session. 
• Grade 9-12 Parents are welcome to join at 4:20 p.m. for a quick student/parent Q&A session. 

PICKUP

• No one leaves Stages without a parent already present at the theater. Please text your child when you arrive in the parking lot for pickup. No participant should be waiting for a ride at the downstairs outside door.
